Super Mario 3D World Recensie Round-Up: Jumping for Joy

Vanaf volgende week vrijdag ligt Super Mario 3D World in de winkels voor de Wii U. Voordat je de game binnenhaalt, wil je natuurlijk wel weten of het spel het echt waard is. Daarom hebben wij even een lijstje gemaakt met de recensies van Super Mario 3D World, om te kijken hoe de pers het spel wereldwijd heeft beoordeeld.

Super Mario 3D World zal de eerste grote, nieuwe Mario-game voor de Wii U zijn. Eerder kwamen al titels als New Super Mario Bros. U en New Super Luigi U uit, maar Nintendo heeft met deze titel veel wijzigingen toegevoegd. Zo zitten er meerdere power-ups in het spel, zoals het kattenpak of de kloonkersen, waarmee je zelfs vijf of zes Mario's kunt creëren.

In Super Mario 3D World slaagt Bowser er eens niet in om Princess Peach te kidnappen, maar gaat hij voor Sprixies - vreemde, koddige feetjes. Deze zul je moeten bevrijden uit de diverse kastelen van de Koning van de Koopa's. Een groot avontuur staat je dus te wachten met Super Mario 3D World.

Voordat je Super Mario 3D World aanschaft, kun je vanzelfsprekend eerst onze recensie lezen. Daaruit blijkt dat deze Mario-game één de meest krachtige en verrassende Mario-games ooit is. Een essentiële game voor je gamecollectie, wat wel blijkt uit de 9.0 die Super Mario 3D World van ons kreeg. De internationale gemeenschap is het daar mee eens, aangezien de game overal niks anders dan lof krijgt.

Everything that you can see and do within its enchanting levels is so bright, colourful, and full of wonder that it's impossible not to be take in by its charms. Mario has always had that uncanny ability to cross the boundaries of age and gender, to bring a smile to the face of every player who crosses his path. Super Mario 3D World is no different. This is dazzingly inventive game that brings the fun in spades, and will leave you grinning like a loon from start to finish."

This is the unequivocally the best Mario game since Galaxy 2, and it shows up anything the 'New' series has ever done, and then some."
