God of War Ragnarok staat klaar om prijzenregen in ontvangst te nemen

Hoewel we onder andere al The Game Awards en Steam Awards hebben gehad, zijn de award shows nog niet klaar. Voor de DICE Awards zijn nu de nominaties bekend en God of War Ragnarok kan mogelijk een prijzenregen in ontvangst nemen.
Hoewel het lijkt alsof de DICE Awards elk jaar worden georganiseerd door de Zweedse ontwikkelaar DICE, is het eigenlijk een acroniem voor ‘Design Innovate Communicate Entertain’ en is de organistor het prestigieuze Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. De prijzen worden dan ook een beetje gezien als de Oscars voor de game-industrie.
De organisatie heeft nu de nominaties bekendgemaakt voor de 26ste DICE Awards en met name Santa Monica Studios en Sony zullen waarschijnlijk met smart uitkijken naar het evenement. IGN meldt namelijk dat God of War Ragnarok maar liefst 12 nominaties in de wacht heeft gesleept. Het event zelf zal op 23 februari worden georganiseerd en wordt gehost door IGN.
