De game is gebaseerd op de comic serie van Dark Horse Comics, en laat de speler de rol aannemen van Hellboy. Met zijn bovennatuurlijke krachten zal je flink wat vijanden neer moeten slaan.

"Followers of the comic book and movie will delight at controlling the sheer power their favourite sharp tongued hero offers, while fans of action games will immediately be drawn into the game's spectacular graphics and intuitive yet strategic gameplay."

De game wordt ontwikkeld door Krome Studios en moet volgend jaar uitkomen.

Konami heeft gelijk enkele screenshots van de game vrijgegeven die hier te zien zijn.
